Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I book a private charter? Wouldn't a public tour boat be fine?

Our private boat charters offer complete customization to ensure that you and your party have the most enjoyable experience. In contrast, public boat tours are restricted to following the same routes daily. Additionally, seating on public tours is limited and often less comfortable, making it more challenging to appreciate the sights and sunset amidst a crowded onboard environment. However, with our private charters, we collaborate closely with you to personalize the areas you wish to explore, the activities you want to engage in, and the duration of your time on the water.

How far in advance should I book my excursion?

As early as possible! When on a vacation, we recommend booking towards the beginning of your trip so we can reschedule if there is a weather delay. Our busy season is March through July, and all holidays, so book well in advance to get the time and date that best suits your group's needs.

Can I have more than 6 people on my boat charter?

Our pricing includes up to 6 people in a party. If you have more than 6, please call us and we can see what we can accomodate based on your individual situation.

Is your pricing for the whole boat or per person?

Our pricing is based on the entire boat rather than individual guests. Even if you have fewer people than the boat's capacity, the price remains unchanged, and we do not merge groups or combine parties. This guarantees that you will have the entire boat exclusively for your party.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

Yes we do! Click here to purchase gift cards for any value and give the gift of a relaxing escape.

What is your refund policy?

At least a 48 hour notice is required to receive a deposit refund. If you cancel within 4 hours of your departure, or no-call/no-show happens, we will charge your card for the full price of the boat charter.

Am I supposed to tip the captain?

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. If you believe your Captain and Crew performed exceptionally well, any gratuity is a fantastic compliment that will be highly valued! Generally, customary tips range from 20% to 25%.

What about if it rains during our time on the water?

Our goal is to keep your party safe and happy. During your boat charter, it is possible to experience rainfall, particularly in the summer months, which is our rainy season. These summer showers typically occur in the afternoons, consist of small rain cells, and are relatively brief. Normally we can wait it out in one of the many coves or cubbys along the waterway. However, if persistent rain or hazardous conditions necessitate an early termination of the boat charter, a refund will be provided on a pro-rated basis. Please note that if the charter ends within the last hour, no refund will be issued.

What happens if you have to cancel due to bad weather?

Our utmost priority is ensuring safety, which means that occasionally we may need to cancel boat charters due to factors such as rain, high winds, or extreme cold. In such cases, we will make every effort to either reschedule your boat charter for a different day or time. If rescheduling is not feasible, we provide a full refund of your deposit.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Alcohol and regular drinks are allowed, but we do not allow any glass bottles on board. Additionally, please no drinks that will stain like red wine, red energy drinks, etc. Note that we also provide water and some additional drinks on the boat as well.

What kind of food can I bring?

Snacks and food are allowed, but we do ask that you not bring things that will make a mess or potentially stain the interior. Leave your dorito and cheeto fingers at home. Things like sandwiches, fruit, vegatables, nuts, pretzels, and non-dyed chips work well on the boat with the wind and waves.

What type of sunscreen should I bring?

We recommend high SPF sunscreen as the sun can be very strong in Florida, but we do not allow spray bottles on the boat. This is to keep our seats and boat clean, and after applying sun screen we ask that you place a towel between you and the seats. Absolotely no sunscreen with tanning, glitter, or bronzing agents will be allowed either. We want the boat to look as nice for the next guests as it will for you!

Can I smoke on the boat?

No smoking is allowed on the boat for the safety of our interior and due to the proximity to our engine.
